DMR Wingbar review...

Cromoly MTB bars seem to go one of two ways. They are either way overbuilt, weigh a ton and are stiff as hell or offer thin wall construction (or various butted tubing) which make them light but super flexy. The DMR Wingbars seem to fit in the middle of the two extremes. The Wingbar offers 5 butted spots throughout the bar. This keeps them light (1300grams/2.8lbs for 3") for cromoly bars. But this does not make the bar too flexy. They have a little give; which is great on the wrists. Especially if you run a rigid fork. More often then not when people try out my bike I get questions about the bars. They just seem to feel right for a lot of people. Wingbars in 3" are a great choice for park and street riding. They also offer a 1.5" rise for more of a DJ option. If you need a new set of bars for 2011 go check out the DMR Wingbars. Find info on how to find yourself a pair below.
